Krakatau revisited: expedition July 2008 photos
We decided to revisit Anak Krakatau in early July. Its activity of Anak Krakatau was still moderately strong, although individual explosions only occurred at intervals between 1-4 hrs. Generally, eruptions were more ash-rich than in November, these eruptions were rich in ash, with frequent small lightnings in the ash plumes that reached up to about 1 km height.
